The secondary air injection system (PAIR) is used to support the combustion of unburned fuel in the exhaust by routing fresh air from the airbox to the exhaust system. Although this system reduces emissions with stock exhausts, it causes annoying exhaust noises and backfiring when aftermarket exhausts are installed. With this kit, you remove the PAIR system completely, including the valve, cover, and hoses. This ensures optimized fuel tuning and a reliable A/F ratio (air-fuel ratio), while improving throttle response and engine performance.
