The rear brake on the Panigale V4 (25–26) is more than just “stabilization.” It influences balance, line, and traction. With the SICOM DMC Carbon-Ceramic Rear Brake Disc (245x6mm, T-Drive), you get immediate, precisely controllable bite – even in cold conditions or wetness.

No temperature window, no sluggish response. Instead, direct feedback and consistent performance – developed over a 15-year testing phase.

DMC Carbon-Ceramic – Performance without compromise

Manufactured from SICOM DMC (Double Matrix Composite): a consolidated composite material with short carbon fibers embedded in a carbon and graphite matrix. This provides:

• High friction coefficient from cold

• Consistent delay even in wet conditions

• Very high specific stiffness

• Thermal shock resistance during hard braking phases

• Corrosion resistance – no rust, no oxidation

Ultralight – noticeably more agile rear

With a weight of approximately 400 g, the SICOM rear disc saves over 500 g compared to the OEM brake disc. Less rotating mass means:

• Reduced gyroscopic & rotating inertia

• Faster directional changes

• Easier steering

• More feeling of acceleration out of corners

This reduction is particularly noticeable during sporty riding.
