How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible measuring tape.
It is important that the measuring tape runs around the widest part of your head – only then will you get an accurate result.
Place the measuring tape at the front about 1–2 cm above your eyebrows and run it along the sides above your ears.
At the back, the measuring tape should run over the largest part of the back of your head (not too low on your neck). The tape can run slightly diagonally – what matters is that it fits snugly around the largest circumference points of your head.
Make sure the measuring tape is tight but not cutting in. It’s best to measure 2–3 times to get the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimeters (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Lay hair flat (e.g., do not measure with a voluminous hairstyle)
- Run the measuring tape horizontally or along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model/fit)
Important for Fit
The right helmet should fit snugly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a bit tighter at first, as the interior padding will adjust slightly over time.
The Arai RX-7V EVO is a further development of the RX-7V. The new homologation ECE-06 have some changes.
