Proven racing technology for the latest V4 generation
The Ducati Panigale V4 and V4 S (25–26) represent uncompromising performance, extreme rev responsiveness, and cutting-edge handling dynamics. However, with the latest model generation, one crucial performance factor remains effective: the reduction of rotating mass in the clutch.
The TGP MotoRacing Hyperdiscs aluminum clutch plates replace the standard steel intermediate plates of the wet clutch with coated aluminum discs. The result is a noticeably more direct response, a calmer rear when braking, and an overall more precise, controlled riding feel.
Less rotating mass – more precision
Aluminum intermediate plates weigh only about one third of the original steel discs. This reduction in rotating mass directly affects the handling:
-
faster engine revving
-
more direct throttle response
-
reduced inertia in the drivetrain
Especially during hard braking and aggressive downshifting, the lighter clutch provides more stability and confidence at the corner entry.
Tangible advantages
-
Improved acceleration out of corners
-
More precise steering response due to lower gyroscopic forces
-
Less rear wheel stuttering
-
Optimized heat dissipation for consistent clutch feel under high loads
- Significantly less rotating mass!

Recommendation for Maximum Performance
For optimal function, clean disengagement, and maximum durability, we recommend installing new or like-new friction plates. In combination with the Hyperdiscs, you will achieve a stable clutch package with a consistent engagement point – ideal for sporty riding and track use.
