The K-Tech DDS (Direct Damping System) Cartridgesystem was developed for the original fork. The DDS cartridge is a pressure-deflected damping system that uses 20mm piston to create a high oil flow through the 31mm control valves to enable precise damping control. The patented design eliminates cavitation and makes the system very stable even under extreme conditions. The cushioning circles are designed in such a way that they work independently of one another (unsympathetic system) to improve the dynamics and the response time. The system is put under pressure by a spring force, which keeps it stable under all working conditions.
