The Vandemon Slip-On Titanium mufflers come with everything needed to connect to your stock headers. By replacing your heavy, restrictive OEM mufflers, weight is significantly reduced, which also results in a noticeable reduction in radiated and stored heat. The catalyst has been removed, and lightweight titanium is used, which does not store heat and cools quickly.
The straight flow characteristics of both mufflers also allow for an instant increase in torque and power after the engine has been tuned accordingly.
Each muffler is also equipped with removable mufflers that reduce noise levels and are easy to remove.
By using the latest manufacturing techniques and noble materials such as titanium, Vandemon is able to significantly reduce weight and radiated heat compared to the larger mass of the OEM exhaust system, which uses a catalyst that heats up more than the exhaust gases leaving the engine. This is a major reason why many Panigale owners report uncomfortable heat radiating upwards from the exhaust when stationary.
The welding quality is second to none with ultrasonically tested, perfect welds that Ducati owners expect and appreciate from such an iconic motorcycle brand.
Appearance:
The naturally brushed surface changes to iridescent blue and red tones when heated. Unlike stainless steel, titanium does not discolor, does not corrode and never needs polishing due to titanium's high acid and salt resistance. Titanium also dissipates heat twice as fast as steel, protecting the fairing from excessive heat exposure when stationary.
Manufacturing:
At Vandemon we use a unique welding process that ensures complete penetration and creates an ultrasonically tested, perfect joint with a beautiful and uniform herringbone pattern.
All necessary fastening materials are included.

Why buy a titanium exhaust?
Due to its strength, light weight and corrosion resistant properties, titanium is used in the most demanding applications such as aircraft frames, jet engine turbine blades and air ducts, deep sea salt water vessels, steam turbine blades, rocket casings and in Formula 1 and MotoGP.
Other advantages of titanium:
Very light, increases the power-to-weight ratio
Corrosion and discoloration resistant
Never needs to be polished, unlike stainless steel and aluminum
Dissipates heat twice as fast as stainless steel
