The Secondary Air Injection (PAIR) system directs fresh air from the airbox to the exhaust system to help burn unburned fuel in the exhaust. This system was designed to improve emissions from stock exhaust systems, but will result in tailpipe pops and backfires if you fit aftermarket exhausts.
CNC machined plate that replaces the original cover and rubber cap to close the hole in the filter box.

Main functions:


Eliminates exhaust popping during deceleration and backfiring typically associated with aftermarket exhausts
Achieves true A/F ratio for fuel tuning. A/F ratio measurements are reliable
Release engine compartment
May improve throttle response when used with complete aftermarket exhaust systems
This kit allows you to completely remove the PAIR system, including the valve, PAIR cover and associated hoses
