The Secondary Air Injection (PAIR) system directs fresh air from the airbox to the exhaust system to assist in the combustion of unburned fuel in the exhaust. This system is designed to improve emissions from stock exhaust systems, but will result in exhaust popping and misfire if you fit aftermarket exhausts.
