The new Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 2021-2023 are clearly a point of reference in their category. The racing version of these bikes finds the perfect combination with the SC1-R exhaust system, the top of the range SC Project products in terms of performance and technical solutions.
 
The SC1-R silencer, developed through a long-term collaboration between the Aprilia Racing and SC-Project Racing Departments, is the maximum expression of performance, quality and high-tech solutions for the 1,100cc hypersports engines made in Noale. Thanks to the presence of an exclusive titanium exhaust valve - developed by SC-Project for MotoGP and WSBK exhaust systems - this muffler presents itself in a short configuration, with a length of only 250mm, with a very aggressive and sporty look.
 
Despite the compact mass of the muffler, which allow a huge weight saving of -59% compared to the original exhaust, this masterpiece of technology allows you to stay within the foreseen decibels allowed for track use: 106 dB @ 6500 rev/ min with dB killer installed / which become 111 dB @ 6500 rpm without dB killer.
 
For racing use, the dB killer is removable: the outlet, produced by hydroforming, and the carbon fiber end cap with a diamond and asymmetrical shape, make the SC1-R Slip-on the best choice for this bike. It is available in two variants: titanium or carbon fiber.
 
The welds made with T.I.G. technology in a protected environment, the sound-absorbing material resistant to very high temperatures and the bushings made from billet CNC machined embellish this product. The outlet valve system is compatible with the original control unit and wiring, allowing for plug and play installation. Remapping of the ECU is not required. The kit includes a custom carbon fiber heat shield, the passenger footpeg removal bracket, the aforementioned titanium exhaust valve sourced from MotoGP factory teams and the full titanium fitting.
 
Finally, the impressive maximum torque increase: +6.5 Nm @ 7700 rpm and a consequent increase in performance (+7.2 hp @ 7700 rpm) with the built-in dB killer. Without the dB killer, the maximum torque increase is +8.0 Nm @ 8000 rpm while the power increase is +9.1 hp @ 8000 rpm. The benefits are distributed over the entire performance range from 3,000 to 13,000 rpm.
 
The end result of this exhaust system is not only sound, but also a real, deep and sensational melody for Aprilia enthusiasts and owners.
