The intake funnels developed by JetPrime for the Aprilia RS660 are used to improve air intake during the opening phase of the throttle valve .
Due to the special shape, it is possible to reduce air turbulence during the intake phase and improve air intake inside the airbox. It also facilitates suction and reduces engine response time, especially when the throttle is fully open.
The shape and length was carefully studied by JetPrime's engineering department to connect the engine at different speeds. This means the intake resistance is increased to improve the air filling even at low speeds. The complete assembly takes place in the airbox.
