The FKR Catridge Kit is a closed system that is pressurized by a spring, which is simpler and easier to maintain than the previous gas pressure system. With the FKR, there is no risk of pressure loss due to leaks and thus it delivers a guaranteed uniform performance. With TTX technology, a newly developed piston and an 8mm piston rod, Öhlins have reduced the internal pressure, which leads to a faster response. This results in a "linear" damping characteristic that offers more options for tuning and increases traction and driving stability!
