The FKR Catridge Kit is a closed system that is pressurized by a spring, which is simpler and easier to maintain than the previous gas pressure system. With the FKR there is no risk of loss of pressure due to leaks and thus it delivers a guaranteed uniform performance. With the TTX technology, a newly developed piston and an 8mm piston rod, Öhlins have reduced the internal pressure, which leads to a faster response. This results in a "linear" damping characteristic, which offers more options for tuning and increases traction and driving stability!
